We are on the look-out for a competent ‘Sales Manager-Sri Lanka’ for our client company that is an Indian company to be starting operations in Colombo.
Candidate Job Specifications
-Possess a Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or IT with at least 10 years of account & channel management experience.
- Have excellent communication in English and Sinhalese.
- Knowledge of LAN/ WAN systems, networking, data centers and experience in handling structured cabling solutions will be preferred.
- Proven track record in developing and executing business within the geography of Sri Lanka.
- Proven track record of managing and meeting sales targets.
- Experience of working with C Level executives along with strong relationships.
- To have relationships with IT departments, Telecom, Education and Government organizations
- To have relationships with leading IT consultants and architects in Sri Lanka.
- Experience in working with channel partners, managing their expectations and leading them towards achieving company’s goals.
- You will also be responsible for achieving assigned quota along with achieving revenue objectives and market share objectives
- To pocess a valid Sri Lankan passport.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Establish company as the leader SCS business in Sri Lanka. Project the brand, technology and performance to set new standards in that market.
• Manage the existing customers be accountable for generating new revenue by planning and executing sales transactions that addresses and provide solutions to them.
• Responsible for total account management and serve as a primary interface with customers.
• Responsible for identifying and developing new customers and projects.
• Responsible for identifying new vertical segments and bring about sufficient focus to generate business.
• Understand customer needs to work out solutions through channel partners and our technology teams.
• Develop forecast and schedule with channel management and technical sales support personnel required to perform sales activities.
• Build and maintain a sales funnel and prioritize focus based on regular updates.
• Understand the corporate structure and direction, the key people and their influence on a project and capture the same in SFA.
• Possess excellent presentation, communication and convincing skills, display matured disposition in interacting with all levels of management and deep understanding on what the company can provide the customer.
